Getting Hali Ready for THOR!

October 11th, 2014 Today, we made some progress on Hali as far as getting her ready for Homecoming and THOR. We installed longer throwing arms and are working on getting a larger hoop for the backside of the launcher to make it enclose the ball better while getting more power out of each throw. We also began using our new 3d printer from RigidBot in an effort to make some hubs and a bridge to keep the printer square. We still have a ways to go with our new printer as we don’t know much about what temperatures correspond to which plastic, so we didn’t make as much progress there as we would have liked, but we have time!
